People Change

You think you know someone and always will,
but the pain you caused them will never heal.
You always say, "you're my friend."
"Anything I need, you're there to lend."
You always say, "You'll forever care."
But now that I know you, you're not even there.
You make comments that are lame,
but I'm the one who's insane.
You're such a jerk; it's hard to read through
the person you are now from the person I knew.
If you want to be rude, dont take it out on me.
Because unlike you, who I am is who you see.
So always remember and never forget,
who we were when we first met.
In time we'll understand that people change
and nothing we do will put us back in our range.
So, please read this and I'll let you go.
